A prism can appear simple – and then you pick and up, and the nimble dance of light within, as well as on the walls around you, let you know that what appears to be straightforward, can also be magical.
Phillip Low creates one-of-a-kind, hand-faceted lucite geometric sculptures that interact internally and externally to each movement – each of the faceted surfaces interacts with each other and the surrounding area with a radiant glow as it is moved. Sometimes he adds additional tactile elements – making surfaces rough or smooth, which creates another dimension to how these hypnotc objects are then perceived.
Phillip Low attended the prestigious St. Martins' School of Design, and resides in New York. Links below.
